Very inspiring article in the NYT today about the women who helped start the revolution in Libya. They hid and cared for wounded rebels, ran underground charities and carried ammunition in their purses. They played a crucial role in the revolution and hopefully under the new leader of Libya’s transitional government, they will have the freedom to become the women they have always wanted to be. These ladies are my style icons.
